Carneros Resort, Napa

Connie & Mike’s Carneros Resort wedding took place in the last days of summer in the heart of Napa Valley, surrounded by rolling hills of grapevines. Connie has a naturally elegant and refined style, and to complement that we wanted the design of their wedding to be ethereal and beautiful, pulling from English gardens as inspiration to achieve the vibe of a dreamy garden party. We chose a color palette consisting mostly of neutrals, highlighted by soft pinks, yellows, and purples.

Drawn by the view of the landscape of Napa Valley, Connie & Mike chose to have their ceremony at the expansive lawn that leads to the Arbor. The lawn and Arbor provided ample space for us to adorn with flowers, including a curved floral entryway leading into the flower-lined aisle, down to the Arbor draped with more flowers and greenery. Despite sprinkles of completely unexpected rain, Connie & Mike’s smiles were effervescent as they exchanged their vows. The sun peeked out behind the clouds after they said their “I do’s”, bathing the newly married couple in glowing sunlight.

Guests were invited to dine in the courtyard at flower-laden tables, accented by clusters of grapes as a nod to the Napa Valley setting. The tables were set with lush floral arrangements that echoed the bridal bouquet, soft velvet table linens, perlee dishware, and golden flatware. Their sweetheart table was encompassed by a rectangular floral arch that echoed the shape of the Arbor at their ceremony, and surrounded with additional flowers - Connie & Mike dined nestled within their own personal garden.
